Resi is an independent Travel Consultant who has worked in the travel industry since 1998. As a graduate of Westervelt College in Travel and Tourism, she started her career in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan, and is now based in Vancouver, British Columbia. Resi’s clients and travel industry contacts are all touched by her professional attitude and commitment to positive working relationships. 

What fuels Resi’s travel?

As a travel consultant, Resi is committed to positive working relationships with both her clients and our suppliers. Here are Resi’s highlights in her own words:

Arrive at the airport early

I was so excited to travel again that I arrived at the airport early! You never know what can happen or how much time it will take to pass through security, so best to set out early. It didn’t take long to move through lineups. They did move quickly – that often happens when lines are long, so no surprises there. Pre-clearing U.S. customs was also easy and fast, which added some happy energy to the trip ahead of me for sure! Now, I could enjoy a leisurely cup of coffee before it was time to meet up with my friends..

Accommodation Stay, Restaurants and Food 

We did so much each and every day that I needed to remind myself that I’d only been in California for a short while. Our first hotel stay was at the Westin Anaheim. Although the Westin Anaheim is new and stunning, it was the proximity to so many attractions that made it our first choice for a luxury location. I noticed this resort when out walking with friends visiting from all over the world. We shared great laughter and the sights in and around California Adventure Park’s Screamin’ Roller Coaster. Although my room did not have quick access to Splash Mountain, we did enjoy  some of our meals just steps away from it at Trader Sam’s Enchanted Tiki Bar. Having such an incredible stay experience clearly proved that I made the right decision to book our lodging here!

Our next stop was the beautiful Radisson Blu where we enjoyed a short stay and an informative tour. Happily we also had the opportunity to taste its culinary offerings at a lovely lunch. This hotel is located close to all the main attractions and opened in August 2020. It is a convenient walk of only four blocks to the entrance of the Disney Parks.

I would travel to California again, in a heartbeat. I believe this beautiful state to be a must see if you are a lover of the outdoors.
